- Typing assessment – this will measure how many words per minute you can type. Some positions require that you meet certain numbers depending on the position.
- 10-key assessment – this is a common test for those in bookkeeping or accounting positions and relates to the number pad on your keyboard and your quickness using it. It will also look at accuracy. This is measured in keystrokes per minute or KPM.
Finally, make sure you are prepared to go into the temp agency for your interview. This means having your resume, identification, and list of references. You should also inquire with the agency about any other information they require.
